Tech vs. TCU September 16 in Fort Worth

Tech will be in Cowtown Saturday, September 16. The Tech Alumni Association is hosting their event. We will be at the same place.

Saturday, September 16th, 2006

Time: 11:00 a.m.

Location: Stadium Dr. & McPherson Ave (2 blocks from the Stadium)

Parking:

Gates open at 8:00 a.m. - first come first serve on the parking

Directions

From Dallas:

1. Take I-30 west toward Abilene

2. Pass I-35W

3. Take either the Forest Park or University Drive exit

4. ( University Exit ) Turn right on to University drive
( if you pass the Botanical gardens you are going the wrong way )

( Forest Park Exit ) turn left on to Forest Park.

Pass under the overpass and take the second right. There will be a sign for University drive.

Turn left on University drive

5. Pass over the Trinity river and by the zoo

6. After the Park Hill light you will be a couple of blocks away from TCU.

7. Turn left on McPherson to get to the Tech tailgate area in the Alice Carlson school property.

From West of Ft. Worth

1. Take I-30 East to Dallas

2. Take either the University Drive exit

4. Turn right on to University drive ( if you pass the Botanical gardens you are going the wrong way )

5. Pass over the Trinity river and by the zoo

6. After the Park Hill light you will be a couple of blocks away from TCU.

7. Turn left on McPherson to get to the Tech tailgate area in the Alice Carlson school property.

Parking is not easy. The neighborhoods are not football fan friendly.There are a couple of paid lots you can park for $10. They will fill up VERY fast. Good news is the neighborhoods you are in are nice and walking around is not dangerous.
